  Amazing food and ice cream!!! I love the smores sunday. My family always comes here during the summer. Just watch out if the line is long. It may take a little bit of waiting, but definitely worth the wait!!

  A great family ice cream spot on the way to Kerr Lake Dam. Old fashioned soft-serve ice cream is the order of the day, although you can get other grill items. Ice cream's all I know. My favorite is hot fudge cake, which you can eat at 10 am and still be good at 2 pm.
  
  The service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is congenial. Lucky's is one of those places where folk who would not ordinarily mingle scarf down ice cream, hot dogs and soda together. Sunday afternoons are especially colorful; it's a mix of bathing suits and church sequins!
  
  The banana splits are un- finishable. They've got kosher hot dogs, burgers and fries. The peach and strawberry milkshakes have local fruit in them, I overheard another customer say.
  
  If you are looking for an unpretentious, off the beaten track spot for ice cream and old-school fast food, Lucky's is your place.
